Authorized Instructor Program

Outline

The Atlassian University Authorized Individual Instructor Program empowers Atlassian-certified independent consultants to train users with hands-on courses authored and maintained by Atlassian University. There is no cost to join this program.

Who should join

To qualify for this program, you must hold an active Atlassian Certification and must not be part of an Atlassian Solution Partner organization.

Program Benefits

As an Authorized Individual Instructor, you will:

  • Build a training practice by teaching hands-on instructor-led content that is authored and maintained by Atlassian University.
  • Teach Atlassian University content in your native language*
  • Receive an Authorized Instructor Badge for promotional purposes
  • Receive marketing assets to help you promote your training offering (under development)

*Content and hands-on labs will be provided in English

Participation Requirements

  • There is no cost to join the program

  • Purchase 1 class kit* / quarter (4 class kits / calendar year)

    • Class kit includes instructor materials, access to hands-on labs and student workbooks
    • Class kits requirements are prorated based on when an Authorized Instructor is approved and onboarded to the program.

  • Authorized Instructors must meet the Certification requirements as defined below. Instructors do not have to hold all certifications. Your current Atlassian certifications will dictate which courses you’re able to teach.

  • Authorized Instructors must complete the on-demand version of the course prior to course delivery to learn its content and flow.

*Class kits contain 5 licenses for instructor materials, courseware, access to hands-on labs, student guides and lab workbook. Each class kit costs $300 USD.

Instructor Certification Requirements

Instructors are authorized to purchase class kits and deliver training based on current Atlassian certification achievements. The best way to read the table is to review the certifications you currently hold and then take a look at the courses available for you to teach.
